YouTube - Tubular!

I could waste a whole lot of time on this site... Whoa Nellie it's fun!

I did a random search for "skateboard slam" just to bring back some bone-crushing memories of my ill spent days of youth and to my sweet surprise the 1st video I clicked on has some footage of one of my regular, all-time favorite sk8 spots in downtown Columbia South Carolina. It has a "slam" of some kid sk8ing the Rutledge Building downtown perpendicular to the State Library.

my main interest in YouTube is archiving library programs and having some original content that might actually drive some hits on our websites rather than ONLINE DATABASES, a phrase that means as much to most people as centrifugal force. Often libraries are the 1st stops for lesser known authors on their pitstops to stardom. I found plenty of other neat stuff on YouTube as well. I may even try to post some family videos on the site to share with the world.
